Lens Control

The 3-axis wireless cPRO hand unit sets new standards in design and erconomics with optional 4th axis control through the thumbwheel and integrated lens data display. It offers a feature packed and user-friendly interface for lens and camera control. The advanced focus knob has mechanical limits, variable torque adjustment and the „Panic Button“, a mechanical endstop override feature.

It offers an LBUS interface to connect to the LBUS world and a camera interface for camera start/stop control and camera feedback. Connects up to 3 daisy-chained cforce motors.
The new CAM (7p) connector offers an interface to popular cameras such as ARRI, RED, SONY, BLACKMAGIC or CANON for camera start/stop control and camera feedback.

Cine has a gear ratio of 2:1 for cine style lenses, which means one turn of the focus knob will result in two turns of the focus gear.

This gear ratio is common to all classic follow focus units from ARRI (FF-3, FF-4, etc.) and is traditionally suited to cine lenses such as Ultra Primes, Compact Primes, Alura Zooms, Angenieux Zooms, etc…

The new designed clamp lets you place the zoom unit right next to the rod, which enables a neutral position of the thumb to comfortable control the zoom joystick.
With two additional buttons on the underside of the clamp, the steady zoom offers up to 4 user buttons which can be assigned to camera start/stop, marker recall, ZAP (zoom as fast as possible) or lens limits.

The cforce mini is an exceptionally small and lightweight, yet fast and responsive lens motor. Equipped with twin connectors and using daisy chain technology, up to three cforce motors can be chain-linked from a single connector on the ALEXA Mini and ALEXA Mini LF camera, the Active Motor Controller AMC-1, the Universal Motor Controller UMC-4 or the cforce mini RF.
