Canon K-35

The K35s were made in the 70’s and 80’s as Canon’s response to the Zeiss Super Speeds. Fast and small, the K35s are widely renowned for being absolutely beautiful. They are sharp and have lower contrast than modern primes and have a unique smooth focus quality and color palette with gorgeous purple and orange flares, as well as uniquely striking bokeh and falloff

Zeiss High Speed

Zeiss Super Speeds are small, fast, lightweight and favored for their sharp, lower contrast, and slightly milky characteristics when used wide open, tempting qualities to complement sharp modern digital sensors. They are not without drawbacks, the focus barrel of the lens extends when focusing, and a clamp-on matte-box is not recommended.

LEITZ Summilux

The SUMMILUX-C lenses allow the subject to be captured as you see it without significant color temperature shifts or loss of clarity. All colors retain their natural look and feel with special care being shown to skin tones to keep them humane but without looking over sharp or flat. It’s a characteristic called creamy sharpness that can be seen as well as felt in an image.

beLOMO 8mm Fisheye F3.5

The beLOMO 8mm is a circular, fully manual fisheye lens with a maximum aperture of f3.5. Made in Belarus with an all metal and glass build construction, there is nothing electrical in the lens, and so both aperture and focus have to be set manually.

Zeiss Standard Speed

Zeiss Standard Speeds are vintage cinema lenses that have been an industry standard for decades. Their older optical designs, vintage glass and coatings are the perfect recipe to take some of the edge off of digital cameras, and they are incredibly flattering on faces. They have a classic look thanks in part to their older coatings and iris design which delivers beautiful flares and a unique bokeh when stopped down.
